Relaxing...FINALLY

So today was my first day of relaxation all week! Most of this week consisted of waking up at 4am, heading into the lab, working for about 12 hours then coming home, having dinner and falling asleep.. These days I was not able to run which was not good. I've had to make up 6 miles of runs in four days this week, which doesn't feel too hot on the legs this early in the season. The lab is going well. We ended up taking 5 prawns in each tank and every 12 hours exposing them to 20 snails, 10 Bulinus and 10 biomphalaria. At the end of every 12 hours, I counted, recorded and refreshed the tank with more snails. So far we've lost 3 prawns from the tanks, 1 and 2, but that may be do to aggression caused by the largest prawn in each tank. Data analysis thus far have have suggested significance between consumption of snail species but complete analysis will be done soon and I'll keep y'all updated when that happens. Also, all of the surveys were completed so entering into excel sheet will occur when I return to the states. Now its time to go meet my friend from Yale who is here doing research as well.
